Men at Work.

Oxford and elsewhere, 2023–2026

A collection I seem to have been making for the last few years without really realising I was making it.

The men who build, clean, repair, deliver and generally keep the places around us moving, usually while the rest of us just walk past.

Hi-vis against old stone. Lunch breaks on kerbs. Ladders, roadworks, phones, smoke, mud and the occasional bit of standing around looking like something important is probably happening.

Not really a grand statement about work. Just people I kept noticing.

The people behind the finished city.

This is the first edit of Men at Work.
